AMENDATORY RESOLUTION RE: SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM

RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM
WHEREAS, On the 17th day of June, 1967, the Kansas State Library Advisory Commission adopted its resolution establishing the South Central Kansas Libraries System, and
WHEREAS, The library boards of the municipalities of Augusta, in the county of Butler, state of Kansas: Towanda, in the county of Butler, state of Kansas; Turon, in the county of Reno, state of Kansas; Geneseo, in the county of Rice, state of Kansas; and Wellington, in the county of Sumner, state of Kansas, are established and operating under the laws of Kansas as contemplated by the provisions of K.S.A. 75-2547 et. seq., and
WHEREAS, The above named library boards have duly petitioned the Kansas State Library Advisory Commission to be included in the South Central Kansas Library System, and the board of the South Central Kansas Library System has approved the addition of the municipalities of Augusta, Geneseo, Towanda, Turon, and Wellington its system:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Kansas State Library
Advisory Commission, pursuant to K.S.A. 75-2547 et seq, on this 4th day of August, 1967:
The library boards of Augusta, Geneseo, Towanda, Turon, and Wellington are hereby designated to be participating boards in the South Central Kansas Library System, and shall be represented on the system board as other participating boards are represented.
